Wellness Matters is a workbook that targets the connection between mental health and physical health. It's a self-care tool that can be used alone or in conjunction with your practitioner.
This is an excellent tool to supplement your health and wellness journey if you struggle with your emotional AND physical health or want to learn more about how the two affect one another. WHAT YOU GET INSIDE THE HANDBOOK:
Wellness Matters is a workbook for those struggling with emotional and physical ailments that could very well be connected. The mind-body connection is real and can be challenging. In addition to the primary sections, it also includes a personal lifestyle change contract, weekly challenge notes, a Dear Me (letter to yourself), journal prompts, and personal rating scales.
v.1 The original version hones in on metabolic syndrome and mental illness. It is meant to improve care for individuals living with mental illness at risk for (or who have) metabolic syndrome. The edition is our most colorful one!
v.2 Version two is an upgrade from the first version and veers toward a more holistic approach. While physical and emotional health are still discussed in tandem, this version boasts a "holistic tree" that teaches the individual the physical and mental/emotional interconnectedness.
